The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened higher on Tuesday, its main index, the MASI, rising by 0.37% to 14,773.62 points (pts).
The MASI.20, grouping the 20 most liquid stocks, advanced by 0.37% to 1,193.76 pts and the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, gained 0.54% to 1,041.03 pts.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap, a thematic index measuring the performance of small and medium-sized companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, rose by 0.49% to 1,520.81 pts.
In terms of individual stocks, CTM (+9.92% to 1,097 DH), Med Paper (+4.12% to 21.48 DH), Société des boissons du Maroc (+3.26% to 2,375 DH), AtlantaSanad (+3.12% to 128.90 DH) and BCP (+2.80% to 287.85 DH) achieved the best performances.
Conversely, the sharpest declines were recorded by Involys (-4.90% to 95.10 DH), Label Vie (-3.23% to 3,961 DH), Mutandis SCA (-2.22% to 295.30 DH), Microdata (-1.76% to 620 DH) and CIH (-1.49% to 390.10 DH).
The day before, the MASI had finished with a gain of 0.48%.
