The Casablanca Stock Exchange started in the green on Wednesday, with its main index, the MASI, rising by 0.13% to 14,714.31 points (pts).
The MASI.20, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, gained 0.16% to 1,193.8 pts, and the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, advanced by 0.2% to 1,044.66 pts.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap, a thematic index measuring the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, increased by 0.02% to 1,471.98 pts.
Regarding individual stocks, Attijariwafa Bank (+2.03% to 577.5 DH), Itissalat Al-Maghrib (+1% to 85.95 DH), TGCC (+0.71% to 479 DH), Akdital (+0.57% to 1,066 DH), and Sonasid (+0.53% to 950 DH) achieved the best performances. Conversely, the sharpest declines were recorded by AtlantaSanad (-2.5% to 128.6 DH), Cartier Saada (-1.94% to 32.36 DH), Label Vie (-0.96% to 4,110 DH), Alliances (-0.87% to 440 DH), and Cosumar (-0.67% to 193.7 DH).
The previous day, the MASI had closed with a loss of 0.7%.
