Casablanca Stock Exchange in the green from 16 to 20 December

The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed the week of 16 to 20 December on a high, with its main index, the MASI, rising by 0.11% to 14,721.45 points (pts).
The MASI.20, which reflects the price performance of the 20 most liquid companies, fell by 0.18% to 1,191 pts, and the MASI.ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating as published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, lost 0.22% to 1,041.73 pts.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap, a thematic index calculating the price performance of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, rose by 1.22% to 1,498.8 pts.
Regarding sectors, the "agricultural industry" (+38.7%), "forestry and paper" (+5.47%), and "electricity" (+4.48%) indices achieved the best performances of the week.
