The Association of Health Retirees of the Meknès wilaya organised, on Saturday 26 May, in collaboration with the provincial delegation of the Ministry of National Education of Ifrane, its second medical caravan for the benefit of pupils in the Mrabtine school sector in the rural commune of Timahdite and the populations of the Douars of Ait Aissa, Ait Haddou and Ait Kassou, which fall under the same rural commune of Timahdite.
360 people, including 140 women and 300 children (of whom 140 were pupils), benefited from medical services, consultations and medication provided by this caravan, which was composed of a general practitioner, a paediatrician, a surgeon and a gynaecologist, in addition to nurses and members of the aforementioned Association. This medical caravan in the Mrabtine school sector mobilised a mobile ultrasound unit provided by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity and approximately one tonne of medication. Lahcen El Ouaridi, provincial delegate of the MEN of Ifrane, took the opportunity to thank the organisers for this initiative, which reached almost all the pupils of the Mrabtine school sector and the populations of the surrounding Douars.
