Some 6 hectares of forest were ravaged on Thursday by fires in the rural commune of Tighadouine, falling under the province of Al Haouz, according to an initial assessment provided by the provincial water and forestry and anti-desertification services. The fire, the causes of which remain undetermined, broke out around 10:45 a.m. in the Mssfioua forest, specifically the Ighri Al Foukani part, the same source specifies, noting that the strong winds prevailing in this area risk favouring the spread of the fire towards land belonging to private individuals.
