A fire broke out on Saturday evening in a wood-trading Souk in Témara, causing material damage, local authorities reported.
Firefighting operations, which began around 9:30 p.m., are still ongoing, according to the same sources.
The Civil Protection service has mobilised five tanker trucks to bring the fire, the origin of which remains unknown, under control.
The Souk comprises some 400 commercial premises.
