The Youth Club of the "Le Grand Atlas" association organised a multidisciplinary medical caravan last week for the benefit of the population of the commune of Sidi Bou Othmane, in the province of Rhamna. This solidarity operation is part of the social activities carried out by the "Le Grand Atlas" association in favour of vulnerable groups in the Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz region and is intended to be an extension of the action undertaken in November 2012 for the benefit of destitute social groups in the Douar Tassaout Agadir, in the province of Al Haouz, which had been a great success.
A large medical staff composed in particular of professors of medicine, medical specialists, dental surgeons, and medical students was mobilised for the occasion with a view to allowing patients in this locality to benefit from a basket of fundamental medical services, including specialised consultations, care, and the free distribution of medicines. This initiative intends to bring a smile to the faces of the populations of these remote areas by facilitating their access to health services insofar as they are devoid of medical specialists and to allow everyone to return home with a treatment adapted to their pathology.
