Dismissal threatens six members of the Selouane council

The Administrative Court in Oujda has referred the files of the request to dismiss six vice-presidents of the Selouane commune, territorially affiliated with the Nador province, to the Royal Commissioner.

The decision of the Oujda administrative court, according to a Hespress source, comes in preparation for bringing the files of the six deputies to deliberation and pronouncing the verdict, as it has set the date for the next session on December 12.

The governor of Nador province had issued, last November, a decision to suspend the exercise of duties against 6 vice-presidents of the aforementioned commune, 4 of whom belong to the Authenticity and Modernity Party and two to the National Rally of Independents party, until the Administrative Court in Oujda rules on their files.

The court's decision comes months after its ruling to dismiss the presidents of two communes in the same region, namely the president of the Taourirt commune and one of its councilors, and the president of the Ben Taieb commune. Before it ruled, at the end of last November, to strip 9 councilors of their membership in the latter council.
