The 10th edition of the Amazigh culture festival will take place from September 5 to 7 in Fez at the joint initiative of the Fez-Saiss Association and the Esprit de Fès Foundation. Initiated in partnership with the South-North Centre and the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture (IRCAM), this cultural event includes an international congress under the theme "the blending of Amazigh culture and Hassani culture and their relationship with the cultures of the Sahel", hosted by national and international experts and researchers. The congress will focus on the historical and social significance of Amazigh culture and Hassani culture and their role in understanding history and strengthening cultural exchanges with the countries of the Sahel. This meeting, which also tends to examine issues related to exchanges through history, migration, and culture and their contribution to development and Moroccan-African dialogue, focuses on several themes, including "Amazighity and Hassani: civilisational dimension", "socio-cultural representations of sub-Saharan cultures" and "mother tongue, identity and writing". Initiated in collaboration with the BMCE Foundation and the Fez-Boulemane region, the 10th edition of the Amazigh culture festival also includes a panoply of cultural activities, poetry readings, documentary films, workshops, and folk troupes representing the different regions of Morocco.

The festival, which also brings together a galaxy of singers, poets, and artists, will also pay a vibrant tribute to renowned Amazigh and Hassani artists for their contribution to Moroccan song and culture. The 9th edition of the Fez Festival of Amazigh Culture was initiated under the theme "Amazighity and Andalusia: right of belonging and hospitality".

The themes debated during this edition, organised in partnership with IRCAM, focus on multiculturalism in the Maghreb in the light of the Amazigh and Andalusian heritage.
