Passenger traffic at Fes-Saiss Airport recorded a decline of 15.32% during the month of June, compared to the same period of the previous year, according to statistics from the National Airports Office (ONDA). The number of travellers who passed through Fes-Saiss Airport during the month of June 2012 reached 56,213 passengers against 66,382 during the same period of the previous year, the same source specifies. At the level of Morocco's airports, commercial passenger air traffic also experienced a decline of 2.69%, compared to the same period the year before. Fes-Saiss Airport welcomed some 308,393 passengers during the first six months of the year against 397,523 in 2011, a decline of 22.42%. Regarding the ranking of commercial air traffic by zone, Fes-Saiss Airport comes in 6th position, after those of Casablanca-Mohammed V, Marrakech-Menara, Agadir-Al Massira, Tangier-Ibn Batouta, and Nador. In addition to flights to Arab and African capitals, Fes-Saiss Airport records daily flights to major European airports, including Seville, Lyon, London, Charleroi, Bergamo, and Frankfurt.
