A mother and her three-year-old son died on Saturday evening in an accident that occurred on regional road No. 312 connecting the cities of Khouribga and Kasba Tadla, local authorities reported.

The accident took place around 8:30 p.m. at the level of the rural commune of Lekfaf (Khouribga province), when a grand taxi hit a woman who was crossing the road carrying her child on her back, the same source specified.

The bodies of the two victims were transported to the morgue of the Hassan II provincial hospital in Khouribga.
