About Martil
Martil is a Moroccan seaside resort located north-east of Tétouan, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, in the Tanger-Tétouan region. During the time it was under the Spanish protectorate, the town was called Rio Martil.
While it was part of the province of Tétouan, it was attached to the prefecture of M'diq-Fnideq in 2010.
