A medical caravan to help isolated regions
A multidisciplinary medical caravan was recently organised for the inhabitants of the Imrabten commune (nearly 40 km south of Al Hoceima), at the initiative of the Association of Student Engineers of the Mohammed VI International Academy of Civil Aviation (AIAC).This caravan, organised in partnership with the Association of Students and Doctors of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Casablanca, aimed to provide preventive, curative, and corrective consultations, in addition to distributing medicines and spectacles to the population of the Tamasint Centre, which falls under the Imrabten commune, explained Abdelmonaim El Attabi, an AIAC student and president of this caravan, the third of its kind.The choice of this region was based essentially on the criteria of its distance from urban centres and medical services, as well as its terrain, which makes it difficult for the population to…
