Four people were killed in a road accident that occurred on Wednesday near the town of Guercif, local authorities reported.

The accident, which took place on national road N. 6 at the level of the Houara Oulad Rahou commune (Guercif province), was due to a collision between a car and a lorry, the same sources indicated.

The bodies of the victims were transferred to the morgue of the Guercif provincial hospital, it was added.
