Birth of a Science Museum
With the aim of promoting scientific research and preserving the scientific and cultural heritage of Morocco, the Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University of Fès has just acquired a Science Museum that houses objects and collections testifying to a great diversity.
The Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University (USMBA) of Fès has just been enriched with a Science Museum, which will be officially inaugurated on June 12 at the headquarters of the University presidency. Dedicated mainly to science and technology, this museum aims to promote scientific research at the USMBA, promote and preserve the cultural and natural heritage of the Kingdom, strengthen the University's position as a hub of cultural and scientific activities in the city of Fès, as well as the intellectual development of civil society. The Fès Science Museum thus presents objects related to life and earth sciences, astrophysics, and other sciences. It also houses collections that testify to the great heritage wealth of Morocco.
