Excellence rewarded
The end-of-year ceremony of the Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University was marked by the awarding of excellence prizes to the winners of the 13 university establishments under the USMBA.
Constituing an opportunity to strengthen the spirit of excellence and healthy competition among students, the end-of-year ceremony organised on 18 July by the Sidi Mohammed ben Abdellah University celebrated the winners who distinguished themselves in the various establishments under the USMBA, for the 2011/2012 academic year. Speaking on this occasion, Farissi Esserghini, president of the USMBA, made it known that the University of Fez has managed to establish itself as a higher education establishment of great scale at the regional, national and international level. "The USMBA, which currently has 13 establishments spread over the regions of Fez-Boulemane and Taza-Taounate-El Hoceima, is the first university at the national level in terms of the number of students, with 71,462 students, including 1,440 foreign students.
