Shakespeare's language in the popular district of Bensouda
Discovering the English language skills of students from the popular Bensouda district in Fès, such was the main objective of a competition organised by the Abdelkarim Daoudi qualifying high school.
The Abdelkarim Daoudi qualifying high school in Fès recently organised a competition for the benefit of the most gifted students in the English language. Initiated by English teachers Abdelaziz El Arssi and Youssef Boutaher, this competition aimed above all to motivate students whose living conditions are difficult. "It must first be remembered that our high school is located in a very vulnerable zone (the peripheral district of Bensouda). By organising this event, we wanted to show that even students who do not have the means and who live in marginalised districts can also excel and have enormous skills in linguistic matters," explained Abdelaziz El Arssi, member of the organising committee.Thus, this competition allowed about fifteen students to show all their potential in the English language by expressing themselves on a precise subject.
