With a mannerist approach, his painting is charged with an evocative power heavy with symbolism. Ghissassi (born in Fez in 1953) is catalogued among the most talented painters in Morocco, given his promising career and his rich and varied repertoire. The reading of the works of this artist is done through a poetic reading suggested by details and fragments.

His fascination for the spirit of the Medina of Fez makes him adopt an iconography borrowed from this world: it is a hyper-figurative approach that establishes the junction between the realistic and expressionist poles of mannerist painting, the principle of which is: "If the teaching of techniques is a necessity, art only begins with their implementation". The exhibition will continue until 28 April.
