140 surgical interventions performed in the mobile hospital in Boumia

A total of 148 major surgical interventions have been performed in the civil mobile hospital since its establishment almost a month ago in the locality of Boumia (Midelt province), recently affirmed the director of the hospital, Ouadie Kandoussi. More than half of these interventions relate to paediatric surgery, Mr. Kandoussi was keen to specify during an information day initiated by the Ministry of Health, in the presence of about twenty journalists representing various national media. This mobile hospital, set up in application of the decision of HM King Mohammed VI, provides surgical operations as well as various medical services free of charge, he made known, noting that this medical structure has recorded only one intra-hospital death.
