Book donation to the Lalla Meryem Socio-cultural Centre

The library of the multidisciplinary centre, built by the "Lions Clubs" with the participation and massive contribution of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), has just been enriched by a donation of books offered by the Moroccan section of the Order of Gutenberg Companions, in order to meet the needs of the poor and the underprivileged of this neighbourhood, stressed the president of the centre, Abdou Moukite, in a statement to MAP. This establishment includes several social centres, namely a nursery for underprivileged children, a dental centre and an ophthalmological centre, as well as a training and literacy centre where more than 250 women learn to read and write.
