Casa-Park contract terminated

The Casablanca City Council voted on 24 July to terminate the contract of Casa-Park, the manager of paid parking spaces in the Roches Noires commune. Despite the almost unanimous agreement of the councillors, this subject sparked a lively debate within the council. "Casa-Park must first pay the late fees," shouted one of the elected officials. According to a well-informed source within the City Council, the delegated manager pays the annual fees at the end of each financial year and has no financial dispute with the Urban Commune of Casablanca (CUC). "The Casa-Park contract was supposed to end in July 2013; it was extended until December of the same year. Thus, we received payment for the entire last year," explains another source.
