More than one hundred and fifty shacks for commercial use were completely destroyed, Thursday morning, by a fire in the Souk Ifriquia in the prefecture of Ben M'sick in Casablanca, it was observed on the spot. The fire, which broke out around 7:30 am, only caused material damage in this souk, one of the oldest in this part of the city.
The fire spread quickly due to the presence of flammable products including plastic items (kitchen utensils) and clothing but also small gas canisters.
