Chess sport in the spotlight in Casablanca

The Royal Moroccan Chess Federation (FRME) is organising, in collaboration with the Regional Chess League of the Centre and the Casablanca-Anfa Academy of Education and Training, the preliminary phases of the Moroccan Club Championship and the final of the National Women's Club Chess Championship. This event is scheduled for the period from 1 to 5 July next at the covered hall of the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca.On this occasion, the Federation has reserved prizes for women's teams and chessboards for all participants.These championships will take place according to the laws in force in national tournaments. And exceptionally, for the first national division, six clubs will qualify for the final phases instead of ten, as was the case previously.
