Hespress newspaper learned from informed sources that the Moroccan authorities are continuing to investigate two Algerian citizens who were arrested two days ago (Sunday night) within the territorial jurisdiction of the Zag commune in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region.
The same data indicated that the detainees, who hold Algerian nationality, were caught within Moroccan territory under circumstances that were the subject of an investigation by the Royal Gendarmerie services, and investigations regarding them are still ongoing by the competent military services.
Hespress newspaper was unable to obtain further details about the circumstances of the Algerians' entry into Moroccan territory, or about their identities and the circumstances of their presence in the Zag area.
