The investigating judge at the Agadir Court of Appeal decided, today, Saturday, to remand a man in his forties to the Ait Melloul local prison on suspicion of his involvement in a case related to subjecting his two daughters to rape and sexual exploitation for a long period.
The details of the incident, according to the data available to Hespress newspaper, go back to an investigation conducted by judicial police officers at the Royal Gendarmerie's judicial center in Tiznit, under instructions from the General Prosecutor at the Agadir Court of Appeal, after the latter received information indicating the suspicion of a person in the Sidi Bouabdelli commune in the suburbs of Tiznit being involved in sexually assaulting his own flesh and blood.
The same sources added that the judicial police in charge of the investigation into this case summoned the suspect, aged 48, to be questioned regarding the shameful acts attributed to him, before the investigation with all parties related to the file revealed the father's involvement in raping two of his daughters; the first is 20 years old, and the second is 17 years old, and both suffer from mental and physical disabilities.
Completing the investigation procedure, the same information clarified that Royal Gendarmerie elements supervised, today, the presentation of the suspect before the competent Public Prosecution at the Agadir Court of Appeal, which referred him to the investigating judge, who ordered his remand to Ait Melloul prison, pending the start of detailed investigation sessions in this case, which is considered a precedent in the Tiznit province.
