Inauguration of a new community school
The Espace Jeune association, in collaboration with the Moroccan Association for Family Planning, organised a training day on breast self-examination on Saturday, 10 March, at the socio-cultural centre in the N’guadi district for three hundred women from peripheral and disadvantaged neighbourhoods in Oujda.
As part of its new approach, which consists of grouping pupils from different rural sectors into a single school, instead of operating through satellite classes within school groups that have not yielded satisfactory results, the Governor of the Taourirt province, Mohammed Heddan, inaugurated the province's second community school on Monday in the rural commune of Sidi Ali Bel Kacem. The new "Foum Alwad" school consists of five classrooms and a boarding school (Dar Talib) with a capacity of sixty beds. This school will serve several Douars in the rural commune of Sidi Ali Bel Kacem. It will also provide local education to children from the nearby military barracks, sparing them tiring journeys to the village of Debdou.
