The governor of the province of Taounate, Salah Daha, proceeded on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, to the inauguration of the headquarters of the provincial directorate of the National Agency for the Regulation of Cannabis-Related Activities (ANRAC) in Taounate, in the presence of the governor, acting director general of the ANRAC, Mohamed El Guerrouj. The opening of this headquarters took place on the sidelines of the visit made by Mr. El Guerrouj to the agricultural farms authorised to cultivate cannabis in the circles of Taounate and Ghafsay. At the end of these visits, Mr. El Guerrouj held meetings with the farmers authorised to engage in the cultivation of cannabis, in the presence of local authorities, presidents of cooperatives and the investors concerned, devoted to the exchange of experiences, the study and the monitoring of the next stages of the agricultural campaign for the cultivation of cannabis.
