The Provincial Committee for Human Development (CPDH) of Taounate, meeting on 27 March in an ordinary session under the chairmanship of Governor Mohamed Fettal, adopted 34 projects endowed with a budget of more than 18 million DH. These projects were selected from 57 initially planned under the two transversal and anti-precariousness programmes for the year 2012. Distributed by programme, 25 projects fall within the framework of the transversal programme for a budget of more than 7 million DH, with an INDH contribution estimated at more than 4 million DH, while 9 projects fall within the framework of the anti-precariousness programme, with an amount of more than 11 million DH, including 5 million as an INDH contribution.
These adopted projects concern the sectors of agriculture, national mutual aid, national education, health, equipment and transport, as well as youth and sports. These include, among others, 7 cow breeding projects, 2 sheep breeding projects, 1 beekeeping project, 2 projects for the construction and rehabilitation of sports fields, 1 project for the construction and equipment of a children's space, 2 projects for the construction of a haemodialysis centre and a centre for disabled people, as well as the acquisition of 5 ambulances and 2 school transport vehicles.
Let us recall that 370 projects were implemented over the 2005-2011 period in the Taounate province for a total amount of 105 million DH, with an INDH contribution amounting to 72 million DH and a number of beneficiaries of these projects estimated at 230,000 people. 118 projects initiated during this period concern income-generating activities for a sum of 19 million DH.

34 INDH projects adopted in 2012
Within the framework of the INDH, 34 projects, endowed with a budget of 18 million DH, are programmed in Taounate in 2012, with the main objectives of improving the daily lives of local inhabitants as well as fighting against poverty and precariousness.
