The project has not reached its capacity

The Minister Delegate in charge of Water, Charafat Afilal, chaired a meeting last Monday in Tan-Tan with the city's elected officials devoted to the situation of the water and liquid sanitation sectors. The meeting focused on water cuts due to technical constraints experienced by the seawater desalination plant commissioned in March 2014, which required a budget of approximately 243 million DH. The operation of this project has not reached its maximum capacity to meet the needs of the population due to technical constraints and difficulties related to the operation of this infrastructure, lamented Charaf Afilal.
