Stable food prices during Ramadan

Stable food prices during Ramadan

The advent of the month of Ramadan is only a matter of days away. Regarding food, fruit and vegetables necessary during this holy month, the authorities are keen to reassure regarding the availability of all kinds of products. In this sense, the officials of the Sidi Slimane wholesale market affirm that all consumer goods (dates, milk, butter, honey, flours of all kinds, meat, fish, eggs, etc.) will be available in sufficient quantities on shop shelves and at affordable prices.

At the same time, forecasts regarding the availability of fruit are largely reassuring. Despite this observation, the first week of Ramadan will experience, as usual, strong demand. However, apart from the temporary scarcity of certain products, all necessary measures have been taken so that no price increase is recorded. The economic and social service of the province, whose function is to ensure the rights of traders and citizens, ensures that the supply of food will be largely satisfactory throughout the holy month.

Similarly, price control tours will be carried out daily in commercial places, including the Souks under the province of Sidi Slimane.

Also, a duty service will be provided from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., every day including public holidays, in order to receive all kinds of claims or complaints from citizens.
