Contributing to the development of the Cherarda region through social actions for the benefit of the needy is the goal set by the province of Sidi Kacem. This action is essentially characterised by the distribution of 27 three-wheeled vehicles to itinerant fishmongers selected by the Sidi Kacem Human Development Committee within the framework of the transversal programme of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) for the year 2011-2012.
The three-wheeled vehicles, equipped with refrigerated boxes and provided with a vehicle registration document and a one-year insurance policy, were recently handed over to the 27 itinerant fishmongers of the city of Sidi Kacem. Thus, following the High directives of H.M. King Mohammed VI for the generalisation of the RAMED operation, adequate measures were taken for the implementation of this programme in various urban and rural communes of the Sidi Kacem province.
The governor of the province declared that this operation of the 27 three-wheeled vehicles was part of the INDH and the solidarity actions organised during the month of Ramadan. He further added that this charitable action aimed to support needy families, particularly affected during this sacred period. Regarding RAMED, it should be noted that as of 30 June, the number of files submitted to local committees is around 30,000. Thus, 26,000 files have been received by the provincial unit and 17,000 have been processed, i.e. (65%). So far, 400 RAMED cards have been distributed.
