The city of Settat will soon be endowed with a university campus, with the aim of meeting the many challenges facing the Hassan 1st University of Settat, notably the strong pressure on the various faculties, linked to the increase in the number of new enrolments and applicants for university housing. The campus, which will bear the name of Space for Students of the Chaouia-Ouardigha Region, will have a total capacity of approximately 2,000 students.
