Conference focused on 'The actions necessary for the recognition of marriage'

The Wilaya of the Doukkala-Abda region and the Court of First Instance of Safi organised, on Wednesday, a conference focused in particular on ''The actions necessary for the recognition of marriage''. The participants emphasised the importance of authenticating marriage acts, which offers numerous advantages, allowing people, in particular, to prove their identity and filiation, helping them to establish their civil status record. Other official documents allow all those whose marriage is not concluded in the form of an Adoul act authenticated by the family court to comply with the law and to introduce the necessary actions for the recognition of marriage before the competent jurisdictions, and this before the expiration of the transitional period for receiving applications set for the first week of February 2014, they explained.
