"With its production potential and business climate, it is evident that most Japanese companies established in Morocco are fully satisfied," Honda told MAP on the occasion of the launch of a prospecting mission in the automotive sector, aimed at strengthening economic relations between Morocco and Japan.

In this regard, he highlighted that approximately 70 Japanese companies are currently operating in Morocco, noting that the majority are closely linked to the automotive industry.

Honda also emphasized the importance of the prospecting mission in Morocco, initiated by the Japan External Trade Organization Rabat (JETRO Rabat), in collaboration with the Moroccan Association for the Automobile Industry and Trade (AMICA), the Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE), and the Tanger-Med Special Agency (TMSA).

This mission will facilitate collaboration between Japanese and Moroccan companies, particularly in the automotive sector, while presenting participants with Morocco's business environment and the various opportunities available in this key field, he noted.

The prospecting mission, which runs until February 5, welcomes participants from the Japanese automotive ecosystem, coming from Europe, the Middle East, and Japan.

Morocco offers a "particularly attractive" business environment, Masahide Honda, Director-General of the Japan External Trade Organization in Rabat (JETRO Rabat), said on Monday.
