Theme of a colloquium in Rabat: The democratic interpretation of the Constitution

A national colloquium under the theme "The democratic interpretation of the Constitution: cross-readings" will be held today, Wednesday, in Rabat at the initiative of the Moroccan Association of Political Science (AMSP).

Initiated in collaboration with the Moroccan Association of Constitutional Law (AMDC) and the Rabat-Agdal Faculty of Law, this scientific meeting will be led by a galaxy of researchers, academics, and constitutionalists, indicates a press release from the organisers.

According to them, this colloquium aims to enrich the reflection on the interpretation of the Constitution as a democratic edifice and to provide cross-readings on the constitutional text and democratic interpretation.

The work of this colloquium is structured in particular around axes dealing with the conceptual bases of interpretation, the Constitution and the balance of powers, jurisdictional and control mechanisms, and the Constitution and identity.
