The centre said in a call published on its official Facebook page: "Unfortunately, the stock of all blood types is completely empty," adding: "We will not be able to meet the patients' requests."
It called for people to come to the centre "in large numbers so that we can save people's lives," stressing that it is "an urgent situation. We need your support.. all blood types are needed."
It is noted that in order to meet all requests for all blood types, the centre needs at least 100 donors per day, according to what was confirmed by the director of the Regional Blood Transfusion Centre in Oujda, Sanaa Ismael, in a previous statement to Hespress.
