seizure of more than 5 kg of chira in 48 hours

The Oujda police prefecture services successfully seized, over the last 48 hours, more than five kg of chira and some 174 packets of contraband cigarettes, in addition to various other contraband products.According to police sources, the operations carried out over these last two days also led to the seizure of 3,554 litres of diesel, 200 kg of lentils, 2 televisions, a canister of tear gas, and the equivalent of nearly 2,400 dirhams in foreign currency.The seizure also included 11 cars, 4 of which were intended for smuggling and 7 not in compliance with current regulations, 4 motorcycles, 12 bladed weapons, and 3 mobile phones, according to the same sources, adding that 139 foreign nationals were returned to the borders.
