The 1st edition of the Oriental Festival of Laughter will be held from 23 to 26 April in Nador, with the participation of a palette of Moroccan and Maghreb artists and comedians.

On the menu of this artistic event, initiated by the Mediterranean Youth Association, is notably a cultural symposium under the theme "The art of comedy in the Oriental region", performances of the art of "Lhalka", as well as comedy evenings, indicate the organisers in a press release.

This Festival will offer the population of Nador, and that of the Oriental in general, moments of entertainment and good humour with the flavours of spring, just as it will constitute a platform for meeting between confirmed comedians and young talents of the region, adds the same source.

This first edition of the Oriental Festival of Laughter of Nador, which will be an opportunity for artists and the general public to enjoy a rich and varied programme, will also embody an artistic event that tends to promote sustainable cultural and tourist development in the region.

Alongside the great figures of humour, this event will see the participation of young talents selected during the festival casting.

The second evening will be marked by a show entitled "Aïn Sebaa" performed by the great Moroccan comedian Hassan El Fad.
