A police officer steals money from his colleague
A police officer from the Meknes city security force discovered, by pure chance, that a sum of 50 thousand dirhams had been withdrawn from his bank account.
A police officer from the Meknes city security force discovered, by pure chance, that a sum of 50 thousand dirhams had been withdrawn from his bank account. The bank employee explained to him that this sum had been withdrawn from the till based on a bank cheque bearing his signature. However, the officer had not given a cheque for this amount to anyone. At home, he checked the stubs and discovered that, indeed, a cheque was missing from his chequebook, which he kept in a wooden box placed in his bedroom. In the same box, he also discovered the disappearance of four thousand dirhams in cash. His close friend, a police inspector working in the same department as him, confirmed that the perpetrator must be someone close to the family. Who? His wife? A question he quickly dismissed, although for him, an officer in the general intelligence service, anything was possible. He filed a complaint…
