A dangerous forger arrested in Marrakech

A repeat offender, aged forty-one, a member of a network of forgers who bought cars on credit using fake documents, was arrested last Thursday in Marrakech by elements of the National Brigade of Judicial Police, who handed him over the next day, Friday, to the public prosecutor at the Court of Appeal of the ochre city. The main member of this gang was arrested two months ago in Rabat.
Indeed, the members of this network created fictitious companies before proceeding to the falsification, in their own names, of documents they presented to banks to grant them credit for the purchase of cars. As soon as they obtained them, they falsified their technical data while managing to obtain their registration certificates, in order to resell them as used cars.
The investigators in charge of this case in Rabat and Marrakech managed to seize 14 cars, one of which was stolen in Spain.
The investigation is still ongoing to clarify the entire case.
