Nearly 4 million visitors in 2024, a historical record

The city of Marrakech set a new tourism record in 2024, with nearly 4 million visitors, indicated Hamid Bentahar, President of the Regional Tourism Council (CRT) of Marrakech-Safi. A performance that confirms the growing attractiveness of the Ochre City and its positioning among the most popular global destinations.
During the CRT Executive Committee meeting in Marrakech, Mr. Bentahar revealed that more than 12 million overnight stays were recorded in the region, with an average occupancy rate exceeding 72%. "These results reflect the joint efforts of public and private actors to promote Marrakech as a destination of choice on a global scale," he declared.
