The Yves Saint Laurent Museum Marrakech (mYSLm) is pleased to partner with the Consulate General of Spain in Marseille and Granada Capital Cultural 2031, within the framework of the twinning between the cities of Granada and Marrakech and the celebrations of the centenary of the Majorelle Garden.
On this occasion, the mYSLm will host, this Friday, December 27, 2024, at 7:00 PM, an exceptional conference-concert around Manuel de Falla and the Gardens of the Alhambra. Hosted by conductor-lecturer Rafael Lamas and renowned pianist José Luis de Miguel Ubago, this event will explore the underlying links between the representations of gardens in the works of Claude Debussy, Manuel de Falla, and those of the Tetouan composer Mustapha Aicha Rahmani. Their music will be performed on the piano to enrich the discussion, revealing cultural bridges and influences linking Morocco, Spain, and France.
