A communication meeting on school safety was organised recently in Marrakech, with the participation of heads of security services, the provincial delegate of the Ministry of National Education, school principals, teachers, as well as parents' associations in Marrakech.

This meeting, which aims to strengthen communication between security services and educational actors, provided an opportunity to present the prefecture's strategy in the field of school safety.

"The Marrakech police prefecture will continue to organise, as is its custom, in coordination with the Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF) of Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz, awareness-raising operations and training sessions in this field for the benefit of students in schools," said the Marrakech police prefect, Mohamed Dkhissi, on this occasion. The Marrakech police prefecture intends to increase the number of beneficiaries of these awareness-raising operations this year in the region, which has about 7,000 schools and nearly 76,000 students.
