A grand artistic evening will take place tomorrow, Saturday, at the Royal Theatre of Marrakech on the occasion of the celebration of the fifteenth anniversary of the accession of H.M. King Mohammed VI to the Throne of his glorious ancestors. Initiated by the Le Grand Atlas Association, this evening will bring together on stage a whole array of artists eager to share the celebration of this great national event with the public. We will thus see artists Said Chraïbi, Atika Ammar, Badr Rami, Joudia Belkabir, Aziz Raoui, and Imad Lakrizmi perform on stage. On the sidelines of this evening, the Association will pay tribute to Marrakchi personalities from the worlds of culture, media, arts, and sports. These are the great lute master Said Chraïbi, the singer Atika Ammar, the journalists Fatima Aquerrout and Mohamed Jhioui, the singer Joudia Belkabir, the administrator Mustapha Razi, and the former pugilist Mahjoub Belkada. These personalities will be honoured in view of their role in promoting the influence of the Ochre City in fields as diverse as culture, media, sports, and the arts. This evening will also be an opportunity to celebrate the students who obtained the best averages in the baccalaureate in the various disciplines for the 2013-2014 school year. Through this initiative, the organisers intend to reward the efforts made by said students and promote the culture of excellence within schools.
