Approval of 48 urban planning documents in 2013
"During the year 2013, the Urban Agency opted for a strategic planning capable of guaranteeing a sustainable balance between urbanised areas and all socio-economic components and social actors with the aim of ensuring a suitable and sustainable living environment for all," indicated Abdellatif Nahli, Director of the Marrakech Urban Agency during the Board of Directors chaired by M'hand Laenser, Minister of Urban Planning and Land Use, in the presence of Abdeslam Bikrat, Wali of the Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz region, as well as the governors of the provinces of Al Haouz and Chichaoua. "This urban planning policy has allowed us to translate this vision through the revision and consolidation of our previous achievements," he added, specifying that this orientation notably concerns the monitoring of 21 urban planning documents currently under study or in the final regulatory phase.
