Morocco has become a destination of choice, widely recognised in the activities of exploration of conventional and unconventional hydrocarbons in Africa. Indeed, these last years have known an unprecedented craze with the massive arrival of large oil companies thanks to a proactive promotion strategy, a regulatory, institutional and fiscal framework among the most attractive and a favourable geology. Chevron, BP, Kosmos, Cairn Energy and many others have launched significant exploration projects in the Kingdom. The Marrakech meeting offers an ideal space for meetings and exchanges to identify investment opportunities and initiate or finalise projects both upstream and downstream of oil and gas activities in the Kingdom. Ministers and representatives of several African countries will be present at this event, it is specified from the same source.
