The splendour of Empires comes to Marrakech

The unmissable event of Moroccan haute couture, which was held on Saturday evening in Marrakech, reinforces the ties uniting ancestral Moroccan arts with the fashion trends of the moment. This year, 17 selected stylists were invited to draw their inspiration from ancestral empires. Each of the Moroccan stylists who took part in this event presented 7 caftans to the public, fruits of different cultures and influences, highlighted by these fashion creators who competed in creative genius. Placed under the banner of “Splendours of Empires”, this edition of Caftan highlighted the riches of the great civilisations that have marked History. The Roman, Babylonian, Macedonian, Russian, Chinese, Ottoman, Persian, Egyptian empires... were invited to Caftan in the context of a show where fashion shows and artistic tableaux alternated.
