Marrakech Open: Yassine Idmbarek wins the grand prize

Tennis player Yassine Idmbarek won the annual Royal Tennis Club of Marrakech (RTCM) "Grade 1" Tournament on Sunday in Marrakech. Idmbarek, playing for the Union Sportive des Cheminots du Maroc (USCM) club, beat Hassan Ndayshimi from the ITF (International Tennis Federation) Centre in the final by two sets to nil (6/2, 7/5). In the women's category, Lina Qostal (USCM) secured the title after a hard-fought victory over Zainab El Houari (Club Olympique de Casablanca-COC) by 2 sets to 1 (3/6, 6/3, 7/5), thus confirming a clear dominance of the USCM club in this tournament.
