Marrakech: 8,000 visitors expected at the "International Security and Fire Exhibition"

The 1st edition of the "International Security and Fire Exhibition (ISAFE)", an event dedicated to new technologies in the prevention, emergency, and rescue services sector, will be held at the Mamounia esplanade in Marrakech from 19 to 22 February, with the participation of 150 companies operating in the sector.

Initiated by International Exhibitions and Conferences (IEC), a company specialising in the organisation of professional trade fairs, this international-scale event is part of the global action of the Arab Bureau of Civil Protection and Rescue. The latter aims to promote a culture of prevention and risk management within member countries through the sharing of experiences and the establishment of solidarity funds intended to form a common front against disasters.

ISAFE aims to become a true showcase for new technologies in prevention and emergency (vehicles, fire-fighting equipment, cynology, aerial resources, industrial transmissions for the sector, occupational health and safety, and the security of public and private spaces), as well as an annual platform for meetings and debates serving operators in the sector.

According to the organisers, more than 8,000 professional visitors from Africa, the Maghreb, and the Middle East are expected for this 1st edition.
