Marrakech will host the next “French Connect”

The Kingdom of Morocco has been chosen to host the 11th edition of the International Aviation Forum "French Connect 2014" which will take place in June 2014 in Marrakech, announces a press release from the National Airports Office (ONDA) on Monday. As such, the ONDA, in partnership with the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT), the Regional Tourism Council (CRT), and the city of Marrakech, will host the next edition of "French Connect", which will be organised for the first time outside the European continent, the press release indicates. This unmissable event for French-speaking, European, and other airports around the world, airlines, and suppliers in the air transport sector industry as well as tourism professionals, includes four main elements, namely conferences, workshops, one-to-one meetings, and conviviality, adds the same source. With more than 350 international participants, "French Connect" is a real showcase for the host for a decision-making audience, coupled with real opportunities for contacts and business during the event, it continued. Thus, aware of the challenge of Morocco's tourism development, its potential, and its attractiveness, the airports of Morocco and the main national tourism actors will deploy in perfect synergy during this meeting, underlines the Office in its press release, the goal being to highlight the different assets of the Moroccan destination as well as better marketing of tourism and air offers. These actors also aspire to strengthen air connectivity, being a major component in the promotion of any tourist destination.
